The culinary arts program at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale provides students with an all-encompassing education in many areas of the restaurant business. Taking nearly a year and a half to complete, the program is conducted through six 11-week sessions.

Through the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, students not only obtain cooking and managerial skills, but also learn how to create food quickly and in large amounts while working in a team environment. Along with learning about cost control and maintaining a proper inventory, enrollees receive training in menu, beverage, and kitchen management. The school also recognizes the importance of safety and educates students in sanitation and proper handling of food. In addition to a degree in culinary arts, the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale offers diplomas in culinary management and baking and pastry preparation.
