Francis de los Hoyos leverages five years of professional culinary experience and training as Head Chef at a South Florida bar and grill. He orchestrates the daily operations of the kitchen and undertakes a staff development and motivational role. Francis de los Hoyos’ responsibilities extend to inventory control management and food preparation, and he has experience in executing special events and catering assignments as required. In addition to his primary head chef position, he serves as Assistant Chef at a nearby deli restaurant.

Mr. de los Hoyos earned his Associate degree in Culinary Arts at the International Culinary Schools at Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale in 2010. Throughout his time at the school, he held various cafe positions including server, roundsman, and Kitchen Support Manager. He notably gained line cook experience in a kitchen that served pizza, sandwiches, pasta, sauté dishes, and salads. Francis de los Hoyos holds ServSafe certification in broil, fry, sauté, and flat top equipment, and has trained new staff members in the use of kitchen equipment.

Beyond the culinary sphere, Francis de los Hoyos has past experience with the Boca Raton Beach Club as a valet driver and Assistant Ramp Manager. He initially started with parking automobiles, directing traffic, and providing attendant services. Mr. de los Hoyos ultimately earned promotion to a role that involved arranging events and facilitating closing down operations.

Family oriented, Mr. de los Hoyos volunteers with his local church as a member of the Kitchen Committee. In his free time, Francis de los Hoyos enjoys golfing, kayaking, and fishing.
